Why create your own character

The catalog has many types and settings, but it can't guess the character already in your head: her exact temper, the place where you meet and what she wants from you. When you create an AI girlfriend yourself, the first scene starts where you want it to, and you don't have to fit into someone else's story. The first two characters are free, so trying it costs nothing.

Start with one sentence

Before filling in anything, write one sentence about who she is. "A calm librarian who never raises her voice and never loses an argument." "A jealous bodyguard who decides who is allowed near you." Everything else, from appearance to story, should fit that sentence. If a detail doesn't fit, remove it.

How to make an AI girlfriend with a story

1. Pick her personality type, for example one of the catalog tags.
2. Describe her appearance with two or three details, not ten.
3. Write the story: who she is to you, where you are and what just happened.
4. Save her and start the chat. The conversation will appear in "My chats".

If you want an AI girlfriend who is easy to talk to, keep the story short and specific. "We met on a night train to Kyoto and she took my seat" works better than a page of backstory.

AI character generator: how to choose a type

The type shapes every reply. A reserved one keeps her distance and rewards patience. A sharp-tongued one argues first and softens later. A jealous one notices when you disappear. If in doubt, open a few catalog characters with the same tag and see how they talk before creating your own AI girlfriend.

Fantasy works too: an elf, a catgirl or a witch is just as good as an ordinary woman, as long as she is an adult.

The personality that holds a conversation together

A list of adjectives gives her little. Think about how she reacts: what she does with a compliment, what happens if you disagree with her, what she wants from tonight. Two or three such reactions in the personality field give her something to say long after the first message.

Chatting with an AI girlfriend your way

Light flirting, a long story with twists or explicit scenes: on Muse AI the conversation is built around what you want. Her type sets the tone: Seductive flirts from the first message, a reserved one keeps her distance for a long time, Playfully Submissive lets you lead. The story sets the scene, and from there the plot depends on your messages. If it didn't turn out the way you planned, write a different story and create another character.

How much it costs

Want to create your own AI girlfriend for free? You can do it twice: the first two characters are free, so the Muse AI builder costs nothing for two girls. You pay for the act of creating a character. If you delete a paid character, creating it again requires a new payment. Free characters can be deleted and recreated without limits and without payment. Chatting with her and images in the chat are paid in Gems.

What happens after saving

The chat opens right after saving, and the first message is yours. The conversation stays in "My chats", and she can be added to "Favorites" like any other character. If something feels off after a few messages, it's usually the story: make it shorter and more specific and create the character again.
